DigiVAC Stitch, Fold, and Trim

Watkiss DigiVAC introduces a completely new concept
in collating:  non-stop production with bottom fed piles.

Combining reliable sheet feeding with a constant workflow, the DigiVAC is
the most productive and easy to use collator ever.

Continuous, Non-Stop Production
The revolutionary patented suction feed system takes sheets from the
bottom of the stack, allowing bins to be loaded on the run.
A conventional collator stands idle up to 50% of the time while the
operator reloads the bins; so the productivity gains of the DigiVAC
are easy to see.

Versatile & Reliable Feed System
Feeding from the bottom of the stack means the paper presentation to
the feeder is always constant, so feeding is consistent and reliable.
The stack of paper is floated on an air bed, with the individual sheets
fanned apart by air separation. This is gentle on delicate papers and
it will not scuff the toner on digitally printed work.

Cost and Space Efficient
There is no need to purchase extra bins or towers to achieve loading-on-the-run, so floor-space requirements and capital outlay are reduced.

Modular System
The DigiVAC is a modular system - choose from DIGIVAC Standard or Plus ‘+’ version; 8 or 12 bins per tower; Single or two tower (DigiVAC+ only).  Two stackers - criss-cross or straight are available. Booklet making options include the Automatic Stitch-Fold/Trim
with easy-to-use Graphical User Interface
The DigiVAC+ features a multi-lingual colour touch-screen interface that controls all connected equipment, including stacking, stitching, folding and trimming, giving greater ease of use and fast set-up. Productivity is enhanced by preset sizes, flexible bin linking, multi-set programming and batch insertion.

Integrated Control

Control the entire finishing system, collator, stacker and booklet maker from the central colour touch screen. (DigiVac+ only)
